Finely ground red clay of cosmetic quality. The clay gets its natural red color from a rich iron oxide content. Red clay is also rich in trace elements and known to increase blood circulation in the skin, which stimulates and strengthens it.
IN SOAP: Makes the soap batter orange / brick-colored (for a natural red color, you need to use mica powder), provides creaminess and mildness
FOR THE SKIN: Increases blood circulation and strengthens the skin.
AS A FACE MASK: Mix equal parts water and clay into a smooth paste. Apply a thick layer to damp skin for 5-10 min (the clay should never dry completely). Rinse off gently without scrubbing. You can replace the water with Aloe Vera Juice or Rose Hydrolate for an extra nourishing face mask.
IN THE BATH: Add half the bag to a bath.
